I need someone to take my hand and help me figure out how to add these urls and such... this is new to me because I am usually very good with this stuff.
I have seen how some people have their pictures in the side in a bar and I sooo wanna learn how to do that too.

Just go into blogger and customize the page elements in your page. (If you're signed in, it's the "Customize" link in your top right-hand corner there on your page.) Click on "Add a gadget". It'll pop up a window with all the elements you can add. One will be "adding a picture". You may choose a picture from your computer, or one from online.
There will be lots of other gadgets/elements you can add--including those URL lists.
As for URLs in text, just highlight the text you want to create a link. Click the button in the formatting bar beside text color (it looks like a globe with a little chain link). Enter the URL you want, and voila, you have a text link in your post.
